connection with the young dancers. She has a calm way of gaining trust and inspiring the
youth to explore their own movements.
Maddie also brings her own experience as a dancer and is able to demonstrate and show
the youth the different methods of dance. She is patient, kind and has good management.
My dance journey started at age three at Steps Dance Centre in Trail, BC, Canada. I have been dancing since I was 3 and spent ten years on the Competitive team, exploring Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Tap, Jazz, and Hip Hop. Dance ignited a passion unlike anything else. After high school, I attended 1 year of Concordia University’s Contemporary Dance and Choreography program. Since then I have transitioned into teaching and choreographing across BC and continue to dance and hone my skills through classes and certifications.
Dancers are athletes, and we must treat our bodies that way. Cross training improves performance and prevents injuries throughout the season. With my knowledge as a Certified Acrobatic Arts Teacher and Personal Trainer I create programs tailored to each Dancer.
